The new album TOY will be released on
8th May. The album will include 12 tracks build up around remakes and remodels of tracks
Bowie recorded in the 60's as well as new songs performed the way he did it in the 60's
Songs known for this
album by now:
Bowie and Iman appeared at the
premiere of the "Hannibal" movie. The sequel to "Silence of the
lambs".

Finally, the BBC Sessions CD appeared
including a limited edition containing an extra CD with a BBC session from this year. This limited edition includes a misprint. Ziggy Stardust appears twice on
Disc 2 in the same version. A 60's CD will be released in November called TOYand a new
album is still under construction.

For the second time is his life David becomes a father. Alexandria Zahra Jones was born in
New York on 15/08/2000. Bowie cut the umbilical cord himself. Both David and Iman, who met
in 1990 and have been married for 8 years, have children from previous marriages - David
has a son called Duncan, 29, (christened Zowie) and Iman has a daughter, Zulekah, 22. The
new arrival's christian names were chosen for their real meanings - Alexandria means
"defender of mankind" and Zahra is Arabic for "inner light." David's
first child Duncan (Zowie) came from his first marriage with Angela Barnet.

The new single "Seven was released on July 31 and includes a fantasic enhanced video
of "I'm afraid of Americans".
In September a CD including BBC sessions from the 70's will appear.
Later this years there are plans to release an album containing songs Bowie made in the
60's. No details up til now.
Also a brand new album is planned that will be produced by Tony Visconti.
Bowie still talks about the possibility of 2. Contamination after the above happens -
although it sounds like there´s no date even proposed for this yet.
Finally, there´s still talk of the stage, Internet and album for the reincarnation of
Ziggy for his 30th anniversary in 2002.
