Simon and Nick said goodbye to Warren
Cucurrullo who joins his band: the Missing Persons again. More exciting is that Duran
duran will record a new album with the original band members. In other words: Simon, Nick,
Roger, Andy and John. Simon believes that when together there always was some magic
between them. I look forward to it.

Duran Duran will be playing on Pleasure Island at
Disney World on New Year's Eve. They will be playing TWO 45 minute sets also other bands
will appear.
Nick is working in the studio for new material by Stephen Duffy who was
singer of Duran duran before Simon did.

The Next single will be Playing with Uranium and will be only released in
Italy at the moment.

Los Angeles resident Cornell Zachary sued Duran Duran. Zachary claims in his
two separate Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuits that the band erroneously gave out his
phone number -- a custom one to accommodate his unspecified physical disability -- for a
promotion line that sold band tickets and merchandise. Hordes of Duran Duran fans made ''a
cascade of telephone calls,'' causing him to suffer from sleep disorders and other health
problems, including ''life-threatening high blood pressure episodes,'' Zachary claims.
Combined, the two lawsuits name five causes of action, including invasion of privacy,
infliction of emotional distress and negligence. Duran Duran members Simon LeBon and Nick
Rhodes, as well as a number of promotion and technology firms, were named as defendants.

A special import release of "Pop Trash" in gatefold package contains a
French and Spanish version of "Someone else not me" as well as some experiments
in the studio.

The new CD entitled: "Pop Trash" is available now. A fantastic
mixture of beautiful ballads and modern rock. Duran duran in it's full glory. You got to
have this one. Below you will found the tracklisting and American tourdates. European
tourdates are not available yet.
Other projects
have also kept the band busy recently. TV Mania -- in addition to working on a musical and
album called "Bored With Prozac And The Internet?" -- has started a record label
called Lo-Fi.
